WHATS THE BIG PUFF ALL ABOUT?
The "Philly Puff" is Philly's first annual inflatable sculpture contest. Anyone who's over 13 years of age can enter! You don't have to be an expert to enter. If you would like to learn how to make your own inflatable please join us at our FREE PUFF workshops! The sculptures will converge to inflate on Saturday, May 13th 2017 from 2-4pm at the Lehigh Ave Arts Fest located at the Portside Arts Center on 2531 E. Lehigh Ave 19125.
PUFF COMMITTEE MEMBERS
Jenna Wilchinsky - Co-Founder of the Philly Puff contest & Assistant Director of the Portside Arts Center. Ms. Wilchinsky graduated from the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts in 2008 and the University of Pennsylvania in 2009. Jenna is a painter and also works with installation based projects.
Ginger Metzger - Co-Founder of the Philly Puff contest. Ms. Metzger holds a certificate of completion from the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, a BFA from the University of Pennsylvania and recently completed her MFA in Fibers at Virginia Commonwealth University. Genevieve Geer - Volunteer Coordinator & Glass Teacher for the Portside Arts Center.
Mrs. Geer attended the Parsons School of Design and The Museum School in Boston. Genevieve is an artist working in glass, metal, wood and textiles.
